An Evening Celebrating "The Lord of Orchards"

On Saturday, February 17th, at 7 pm, Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center and Captain’s Bookshelf, will host an evening celebrating the publication, The Lord of Orchards, an anthology of remembrances and appreciations honoring the legendary writer and publisher (and Black Mountain College Alumnus,) Jonathan Williams. The book pays tribute to Jonathan’s singular contributions as both Man of Letters, as well as publisher of The Jargon Society, a small press begun by Williams in 1951, now part of Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center. Join Co-publisher, Jeffery Beam, as well as contributors Guy Mendes, Tom Patterson, Elizabeth Matheson, and Thorns Craven for the evening event at held at the museum’s space at 56 Broadway, in downtown Asheville.
